The Farmington / Farmington Hills Foundation for Youth and Families does more than have meetings to give out money -- we're out there working in the community and offering a helping hand. We're involved in programs and events for the young and the young-at-heart, for families and singles, for people who like to be outside, and for those who like an elegant evening out. Check out what's new with the FFH Foundation.

The 2010 Rubber Duck Race

Our community’s greatest race

The sixth running of the Rubber Duck Race was a huge success – great weather, enthusiastic crowd, creatively decorated decoy ducks and very competitive little rubber ducks. The Sunday afternoon event was the culmination of months of preparation and no one was disappointed.

Decoy Duck Sponsors

Thank you for underwriting

Would you believe little rubber ducks are expensive to maintain – there’s care and feeding, not to mention housing. Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration, but there are expenses for the Duck Race, and some very generous community businesses, civic organizations and individuals help cover those costs.

Bountiful Backpack Program

Helping children in our community

Did you know that there are families here in Farmington/Farmington Hills that qualify for federally-funded school breakfasts and lunches for their children? Many people find it difficult to believe that, but it’s true. In addition, some of these children don’t have healthy food for the weekend, and that’s where the Bountiful Backpack Program fills the gap.

Outstanding Community Support - Thank You

Warm hearts support the 2010 Winter Gala

What a wonderful community! Hundreds of people stepped forward to support the 2010 Winter Gala, "Heart and Soul." Not only did the event have a sell-out crowd, but local businesses, civic organizations, and residents were Benefactors and Sponsors of the Gala, purchased ads in the program book and donated auction items. We'd like to publicly thank them and share their names with you.
